Working It Out
Pro comics step up to test fresh ideas, stretch their legs, and build out brand new hour long festival shows. Audiences get an unfiltered, behind the scenes look as top-tier writers workshop their newest material in real time.
Tuesday
Underground Lineup
The signature MCC experience. A fast paced showcase featuring a stacked bill of Melbourne's best established and emerging stand-ups delivering their tightest sets back to back.
Wednesday
Comedy Therapy
A crowd favorite that puts everyday anxieties, modern dilemmas, and collective neuroses under the spotlight. Comics tackle real-world issues on stage, turning life's messiest moments into sharp, cathartic laughs.

Special Showcases
A dynamic slot reserved for exclusive one off events, concept bills, touring guests, and themed comedy nights. Our occasional Talent Show free-for-all is one of them.
Saturday
The Triple Headliner
A premium weekend showcase cutting straight to the best in the business. Instead of a standard club format, audiences get three heavyweight headliners performing extended, club-tested sets on a single bill.

Melbourne Comedy Club was built by comedians, for comedians and comedy fans.
Founder And Funny Guy
Jarrod Kane
Jarrod is a Melbourne comedian who wanted a place to perform, so he helped start one. He's full of energy and always working on new material and new ideas, most of which don't work. Before comedy he dabbled in MMA, and learned that a bad night on stage hurts a lot less than a bad night in the cage.
He also created and runs The Mic List, a resource that helps comedians across Melbourne and beyond find shows and gigs.

Callum is the perfect pudding from York, here in Melbourne to spread the love of laughter. You'll find him as the resident MC on many of our Underground Comedy shows, and a frequent comedian on many of our lineups. He co-runs the club and introduced nights like Comedy Therapy.
